Founded by Shameka Bishop, Bishop Blueprint Consulting is a credit literacy and financial education company dedicated to helping individuals, schools, organizations, and communities better understand the power of credit.

A graduate of Cass Technical High School and Michigan Technological University in the field of Electro-Mechanics, Ms. Bishop combines personal experience, educational insight, and real-world application to deliver practical and transformative credit education.

Known publicly as “The Bishop of Credit,” Ms. Bishop brings more than two decades of personal credit experience and years of professional educational consulting to the field of financial literacy. Her journey includes rebuilding after bankruptcy, navigating complex financial systems, and independently educating herself on consumer protection laws, including:

• The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

• The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

• The Consumer Credit Protection Act (CCPA)

• Credit reporting and consumer rights practices

Through determination, research, and self-education, she rebuilt her credit profile and transformed her personal experiences into a mission centered on education, empowerment, and access.

Educational Leadership & Consumer Advocacy

Ms. Bishop has successfully represented herself in federal litigation involving consumer and financing disputes, further strengthening her understanding of consumer rights, financial systems, and credit-related practices. Her experiences inspired the development of multiple education-focused initiatives designed to increase financial literacy and long-term credit awareness.

Since 2016, Bishop Blueprint Consulting has provided credit literacy consulting and educational services to:
